By the request and suggestion of some concerned brothers and sisters, due to the reason that some of those who are diligently praying for Cassidy and her family are from all around the world and may not know our circle of friends personally, the regular Blog posting may confused them because Dr. Jesse would sometimes refer to people by the names known to local circle only. Therefore, this new Prayer page is made for those who would like to just see the updated prayer needs of the Sheng Family so they can pray more specific prayers for them. So feel free to pass this site onto more prayer buddies to effect a greater prayer power. Thus the name of this new site http://PowerPray.blogspot.com

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

"Merry Christmas everyone!" Caca said to us. "I knew that I could make it to Christmas!" Cass woke up early in the morning and greeted us with kisses. Then she went back to sleep.
Cass had a very special guest yesterday- Eleanor McCain, a professional singer, and her husband came to sing Christmas carols for Cass. Eleanor and her husband, Jeff Melanson, have beautiful voices and sung touching songs. Although Cass was in pain, she was in great spirits and enjoyed the afternoon with her cousins and aunties.

In the late evening, Rev. Kwong and some families from our church came to celebrate Christmas with us. Later on, some of our cousins came to join the celebration. Cass was in great pain at the beginning. However, she was able to continue eating the food while we all were singing Christmas carols to her in her room. Even though she couldn't stay with the group for too long, she felt the love from everybody! We are so thankful to have so many loving and caring people around us.
The warmth and love surrounding Christmas is a joy to be savored with family and friends. It is a time to give and share with one another. As Christmas carols fill the air with joy and merriment, I wish you a joyous Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Dear Cassidy,
I am so happy to learn that you made it 'til Christmas!!! I am also glad that you and your family were blessed with singers and so many loving visitors on the 25th.
I was in Niagara Falls with Jeff, Dexter, and my family between Christmas Eve and yesterday around supper time. We were able to visit Jeff's mother in her 'new' residence on the 24th. She always loves to see Dexter and the other residents and the workers love to pet him.
I continue to think of you often, Cassidy, and pray for less pain.
Love,
Madame Rapson
