By the request and suggestion of some concerned brothers and sisters, due to the reason that some of those who are diligently praying for Cassidy and her family are from all around the world and may not know our circle of friends personally, the regular Blog posting may confused them because Dr. Jesse would sometimes refer to people by the names known to local circle only. Therefore, this new Prayer page is made for those who would like to just see the updated prayer needs of the Sheng Family so they can pray more specific prayers for them. So feel free to pass this site onto more prayer buddies to effect a greater prayer power. Thus the name of this new site http://PowerPray.blogspot.com

Cassidy's Update - 2014.12.07.

Thank you for all your support and prayers! Just want to give you a brief update here as I have gotten from Mama Carmen verbally. It's hard for her to find time to write due to the situation of Cassidy. I asked her not to worry about the updates but Cassidy and their family.

Cassidy has been physically weak. Day after day, only a few hours is she awake. Even then, she's been cheerful and thankful for being able to get out of the room for just a while. It's been difficult and challenging to help her out of bed.

The hydromorphone CADD pump (similar to morphine) and ketamine CADD pump (nerve pain control) have been increased to very high dosages and still, she has been painful all the time. It's hard for her to move.

During the daily prayer, Cassidy spent most of the time praising and thanking God for His grace and mercy and blessings and for all the loving people surrounding her. Then she prays to God for miracle in healing her if it's God's will, and if not, prays that God's comfort and courage be with her and her family. She is so mature a 14-year old girl.

Please continue to keep Cassidy and her family in your prayers. We pray for God's healing hand, emotional comfort, and to minimize Cassidy's suffering

Dear Cassidy,

You and my son are from the same elementary school. I've been following thru your blog for a while. Your braveness and grateful heart are what I admired the most. I don't need to ask you to be brave because you are already the toughest girl I've ever seen!!! You are an angel and the most beautiful girl in the world!!!

Psalm 139:5, 6 (GNTD)
"You are all around me on every side; you protect me with your power. Your knowledge of me is too deep; it is beyond my understanding."

God bless you and your family!!

Dear Cassidy,

I worked as a caretaker at Northlea when you first started. You inspired me then and continue to each and every day. You are a very special young lady and I know many people are praying with you.

Bless you and your family and the many people who's lives you have touched.
