By the request and suggestion of some concerned brothers and sisters, due to the reason that some of those who are diligently praying for Cassidy and her family are from all around the world and may not know our circle of friends personally, the regular Blog posting may confused them because Dr. Jesse would sometimes refer to people by the names known to local circle only. Therefore, this new Prayer page is made for those who would like to just see the updated prayer needs of the Sheng Family so they can pray more specific prayers for them. So feel free to pass this site onto more prayer buddies to effect a greater prayer power. Thus the name of this new site http://PowerPray.blogspot.com

Thank you all for joining today

It's a happy day!

On behalf of Cassidy and her family, I would like to thank all of you for attending the baptismal ceremony today! For those, who could not attend for various reasons, your support and prayers were deeply appreciated too!

Arriving there at around 2:30 pm, I was amazed by all the helpers, decorations, poster and cards for signing and messages. Everyone was trying to get things ready before the ceremony started. From the ones who prepared the paths and water for baptism to the ones who decorated lobby and the Sanctuary; from parking controllers to receptionists; from usher team to the refreshment team; from photographers and videographers to the ones who prepared the video clips and slide shows as well as powerpoint for the ceremony; from Audio & Video people to Worship team, from pastors, getting ready to lead the ceremony, to the supporters preparing to cheer for Cassidy and her family; and many more. All in all, the efforts and time, of everyone, are very much appreciated! Words are not enough to express the thankfulness from the family!

The Sanctuary was full. The applause when Cassidy and family arrived. Chairperson was leading the flow with welcome message to begin with, worship team led us into worshiping God on this happy day, scripture reading, short message, and then came the sharing of Papa Andy, testimony of Cassidy. Being touched by the sharing and testimony, I cried. Many did, too, as I could hear and see.

The ceremony at Bridle Trail Baptist Church today, Cassidy wanted to fulfill all righteousness and to publicly testify her faith. She wanted to meet with you all, and for you all to meet at such an occasion. Just like the pastor said, she wanted to introduce her God to you, and wanted to see you all in heaven when the days of our time come.

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"  (Romans 3:23)

God is just. Punishments come as consequences of sin. We, with sins, cannot save ourselves. God prepared salvation for all of us!

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."  (John 3:16)

Baptism started... I guessed many of you were like me, with eyes fixed, breathlessly, at the way where Cassidy would be going into the water, praying that it would be smooth for her with minimal pain! When she was out of the water, non-stop applause in cheering for Cassidy and the joyfulness in God's house filled the air!

The baptism was followed by the acknowledgement by Gor Gor Aaron, and then photo sessions and refreshment! Though Cassidy could only stay for photo session and had to rush back to Emily's House, everyone was in good spirit! Though she was tired, Mama Carmen told me she was very happy to see you all!

Hugs to Cassidy from all of us!

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."  (Romans 8:28)

May God's grace and mercy continue to shed upon Cassidy and her family! And we still believe there's miracle if it's God's will!

Many thanks to you all again!

Yes, it's a happy day!

Thank you Carmen for to invite and opportunity to join in the celebration of Cassidy's baptism. I wanted to know if you would post some more of the photos and especially the video of Tori, Cass, Maya, Megan and Sarah singing. It was very heart warming.

Thank you

Congratulations on your baptism, Cassidy! What an encouragement to see your smile and powerful testimony before everybody. Sorry I couldn't be there to celebrate and partake in the day of worship. Hope to see you soon when I'm back from London!
