By the request and suggestion of some concerned brothers and sisters, due to the reason that some of those who are diligently praying for Cassidy and her family are from all around the world and may not know our circle of friends personally, the regular Blog posting may confused them because Dr. Jesse would sometimes refer to people by the names known to local circle only. Therefore, this new Prayer page is made for those who would like to just see the updated prayer needs of the Sheng Family so they can pray more specific prayers for them. So feel free to pass this site onto more prayer buddies to effect a greater prayer power. Thus the name of this new site http://PowerPray.blogspot.com

Update of this afternoon

After the Radiation Oncologist and the Spine Specialist, from Princess Margaret Hospital, reviewed Cass' latest MRI report, they believed the pain at the back of her thigh was very likely caused by the tumors at the sacrum, which was one of the areas that had received radiation treatment two months ago. Anyways, tumors in the same area are suspected to be bothering Cass now. Given such diagnosis, the medical team plans to re-treat the area one more time, specifically to one of the small areas at her right sacrum. They will lower the dosage at this time and span the whole radiation process over a period of 8 days. At the same time, they will also treat her L1 location and maybe her femur as well. They need to review the CT scan and do more planning work before Cass can start this round of treatment. If everything goes smoothly as planned, the radiation will start this Saturday morning. Please continue to pray for God's healing power and His wisdom for the medical team so that the treatment can be performed to Cass' best benefit, and that the tumors will be controlled and not cause the nerve problem and pain to Cass.
