By the request and suggestion of some concerned brothers and sisters, due to the reason that some of those who are diligently praying for Cassidy and her family are from all around the world and may not know our circle of friends personally, the regular Blog posting may confused them because Dr. Jesse would sometimes refer to people by the names known to local circle only. Therefore, this new Prayer page is made for those who would like to just see the updated prayer needs of the Sheng Family so they can pray more specific prayers for them. So feel free to pass this site onto more prayer buddies to effect a greater prayer power. Thus the name of this new site http://PowerPray.blogspot.com

Looking good!

Dr. Jesse paid a late visit to Cassidy last night and found her looking real good. Her blood pressure and heart beats are steady and her face has a sweet pink glow. She was awake and alert then started to feel sleepy just before 10pm. Cassidy said she didn't sleep too well the night before but she promised to try again to have a sweet night of sleep.

As we all know, God has amazingly provided all that was needed in the surgery and that CaCa's leg wound is all closed up, no more weekly skin stretching surgeries. The doctors was able to stretch a bit of the skin above the incision on the top of CaCa's leg to close up the wound. CaCa's leg is now at a slightly upward position when she lies on bed and this is because the skin that was pulled down to cover the wound needs time to stretch and relax. And CaCa needs to try and move her tummy more to help those skin relax, so let us all pray for CaCa to be able to do that without pain and that her leg would quickly return to the relax position and her back more relaxed.

CaCa is still not having much appetite after the surgery although she is allowed to eat again. So let us pray that God helps CaCa to build up her appetite again and help her to express her feelings in the kind of food she likes to eat. For the time being, CaCa's blood nutrients are closely monitored so that the doctor would know what to add into her IV supplements.

This is a new beginning of a new chapter of CaCa's life, as well for Carmen, Andy and Aaron. And this is as good a beginning as we are made anew by Christ. Although little Cassidy is missing a leg to our human eyes, but in God's eyes, she is as whole as she was originally made by God in His own images. She is as valuable to God as the moment she was conceived and as cherished by our heavenly Father as the moment she was born. How much so is she to us all. Cassidy's brave journey all along has strengthened many of us in our trust and faith in God as well as bringing us all closer to a prayerful and holy life. How wonderful is God in turning what seems to be a curse into abundant blessings to many. Let's not let the pains that CaCa suffered go to vain, God's love and blessings are obviously seen; witnessed; testified and shared in the lives of many throughout these months, it is God's calling to us all to receive His love. Our sweet Cassidy would smile if she knows that you have made the decision to accept this unconditional love, that she has already accepted from our God in heaven.

Father God, thank You for Your love.
Jesus, our Lord, thank You for the Cross where You poured out Your life for us because of love.
How can it be that LOVE can be so great as such...
