"We're doing ok.....we both slept more.....not so much disturbance in midnights."
"Uncle Leanda & Auntie Connie stayed with her till 8pm.....They really made her day."
By the request and suggestion of some concerned brothers and sisters, due to the reason that some of those who are diligently praying for Cassidy and her family are from all around the world and may not know our circle of friends personally, the regular Blog posting may confused them because Dr. Jesse would sometimes refer to people by the names known to local circle only. Therefore, this new Prayer page is made for those who would like to just see the updated prayer needs of the Sheng Family so they can pray more specific prayers for them. So feel free to pass this site onto more prayer buddies to effect a greater prayer power. Thus the name of this new site http://PowerPray.blogspot.com

Dear Carmen & Andy,
remember this old, old hymn?
What a Friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry,
Everything to God in prayer.
Oh, what peace we often forfeit
Oh, what needless pains we bear
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer!

we might not be there with you physically, but we are there with you spiritually.
Cassidy is such a strong and brave girl to go through all the medical procedures! I am so impressed with her and very proud of her!
She showed a lot of love and care for her classmates during sunday school...and she understood how to be a good Christian.
She was a great student...Next time I will check to see what class she's in and try to teach in that class....shhhhhhhhhhhhh don't tell anyone!

FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND
One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene,
he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand.
One belonged to him, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life,
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened
at the very lowest
and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him
and he questioned the Lord about it.:

"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during
the most troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you the most you would leave me."

The Lord replied,
"My precious, precious child,
I love you and would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then I carried you."
